4. Product Description, Condition, and Assembly

4.1. Product Nature:

We offer a curated selection of used (second-hand) and new furniture. The specific condition of every item is meticulously detailed in the product listing, and the accompanying photographs are an essential part of the description.

  • Used Items: All used items are sold subject to fair wear and tear commensurate with their age. We guarantee that used items are fit for purpose and match the description provided. Every item is inspected and its photographed just as it is and customers who are shopping will find item as photographed on the website.
  • New Items: New items are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which is passed on to you where applicable.

4.2. Assembly and Support:

To ensure safe and cost-effective delivery, some furniture is delivered dismantled and securely packaged. The listing will clearly indicate if an item is sold assembled.

  • Assembly Guidance: While physical manuals are generally not included, we provide personal support via WhatsApp or video call to guide you through the setup process.
  • Assembly Service: Professional assembly services can be arranged upon request. This must be quoted and agreed upon before the purchase is finalised.

5. Pricing and Payment Policy

5.1. Pricing and VAT:

All prices displayed on our website are quoted in Great British Pounds (£) and are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate. Delivery costs are calculated separately and presented clearly before you confirm your order.

5.2. Online Payment:

We accept major credit and debit cards, as well as secure online payment methods. All transactions are processed securely by trusted third-party payment providers. Full payment is required at the time of order placement.

5.3. Cash on Collection:

Payment in cash is accepted only for items collected directly from our warehouse at SG8 8ND (Royston area). Payment must be made in full upon collection.

6. Delivery and Collection Policy

We offer multiple options to ensure your furniture reaches you safely and efficiently.

6.1. Delivery Options

  • A. UK Mainland Pallet Delivery (Large/Heavy Items): This service is for large furniture and is subject to strict logistical requirements.
  • B. Standard Courier Delivery (Smaller Items): For smaller items, we use reliable parcel services such as DPD. Tracking information will be provided where available.
  • C. Flexible Courier (Shiply.com): We offer the option of using flexible courier services via Shiply.com. We can manage the booking on your behalf, or you may arrange your own transport.
  • D. Personal Delivery (London & Nearby): We offer a personal delivery service to London and adjacent areas.

6.2. Collection Policy

Collections are welcome from our warehouse: SG8 8ND (Royston area), strictly by advance appointment.

6.3. Late Deliveries

We are not liable for delivery delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control (including public holidays, extreme weather, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, government action, transport disruption, customs/port delays, and carrier network disruption).

6.4. Location Issues

Some locations in the UK are more expensive to deliver to than others, for instance, some may require sending parcels using ferries, etc. We will notify you if is there any extra charges. We reserve the right to cancel your order if you do not agree

7. Refund & Returns Policy

Our policy is designed to give you confidence in your purchase, aligning with the strong buyer protection standards of the UK.

7.1. Right to Cancel (Change of Mind):

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days from the day you receive the item. You then have a further 14 days to return the item.

7.2. Returns for Faulty, Damaged, or Not as Described Items:

We offer a period of 30 days from the date of delivery for returns if the item:

  • Arrived damaged or faulty.
  • Does not match the description or photographs in the listing.

8. Intellectual Property

All content included on the website, such as text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Oneplace2save Limited or its content suppliers and protected by international copyright laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability to you in respect of any contract of sale shall not exceed the purchase price of the item in question. We are not liable for any losses that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time the contract was formed.

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute. If we are unable to resolve a dispute, you may seek resolution through an alternative dispute resolution provider.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These T&Cs are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
