Unlike a conventional filing cabinet, a plan chest is specifically designed for documents that need to remain open and flat. The broad drawer footprint helps prevent plans, artwork and other large sheets from being unnecessarily folded, rolled or compressed.
The nine separate drawers allow projects, departments, document types or different paper sizes to be organised individually, while the full-width top provides an additional surface for examining drawings or arranging materials.
Each drawer measures approximately 122cm wide × 88cm deep, providing sufficient space for standard A0 sheets measuring approximately 118.9 × 84.1cm.
The drawers can also accommodate A1, A2 and smaller formats, either individually or organised using the buyer’s preferred folders, dividers or document sleeves.
The plan chest is constructed from three separate sections containing three drawers each, positioned together beneath the full-width top.
This modular arrangement allows the cabinet to be partially dismantled into more manageable sections for pallet transport, access into the building and final positioning.

- Your delivery address must allow access for a 7.5-tonne or larger truck
- Delivery is kerbside only, using a tail lift and pump truck, and is strictly ground floor only
- The courier will call you to arrange a delivery date once your pallet is in their system. Please inform them of any access restrictions
- You can choose the delivery day, but not the exact time — delivery happens anytime between 9am and 5pm, and someone must be available to sign for it
- There is no tracking number or delivery updates, so please make sure you are reachable

- Most items are delivered dismantled and safely packed
- Assembly manuals are not included, but when available:
